Clif Christopher Seminar

Thanks to the Consortium for Endowed Episcopal Parishes and all who helped us put on the Clif Christopher Seminar in Atlanta on May 16!  It was a great success by all accounts.

Sample Testimonial - Minute for Mission

Over the past few months as we have worked on this project, my family and I have had time & occasion to think a lot about Planned Giving.

Planned Giving and Endowment Statement: Why We Do It

All of us are indebted to the past, to those who precede us. We
drink from wells we have not dug. We enjoy liberties we have not won.
We share faith whose foundations we have not laid.

At the same time, we are seeds of the future, for those who succeed
us. We dream and envision and set things in motion. The fruition of
our decisions will be known only to others whom we will not meet. We
are called to partner in faith with those who have gone before us and to
offer the best that we have to give to those who will follow.

Your Stewardship Statement: Why Give?

Encouraging planned gifts?  Tell your members and supporters what you are about in a
brief and memorable statement.  Tell them again and again and again.
Here is a great example from Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh:

…and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8

We often pray for God’s discernment in our lives, seeking faithfully what God’s will is for us.  What does God require of us? To do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with our God.

Bequest Giving: Letter to Children

A Letter to Our Children

To Our Dear Children:

We want to tell you about a decision we made recently and some of the reasons behind it.  But first, we want you to know that we are very proud of you and thankful for the honor of being your parents.  You bring us great happiness.
